The Municipality of West Elgin is responsible for all planning and development projects. Please check the zoning regulations and development plans to ensure that your proposed development project meets the goals and objectives of the community.

Development Applications

Depending on your project, you may need to submit a development application before you can get started. Learn more about each development application in the Municipality of West Elgin:

Planning Pre-application Consultation is required prior to application(s) submission with the Municipality of West Elgin and applicable agencies.

Please review the Municipality's Fees and Charges By-law for applicable fees; as of July of 2022 Planning Application fees may also be subject to LTVCA commenting fees. Please contact the Municipal Planner for further details or if you have any questions.
