Public Meeting Notice

Pursuant to Section 4(6) of the Retail Holidays Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of West Elgin is in receipt of an application requesting the passage of a by-law to exempt Rodney Market, located at 237 Furnival Road, Rodney ON, under Section 4(6) of the Retail Holidays Act, R.S.O., 1990 to permit the retail store to be open on the following Statutory Holidays: Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day and Thanksgiving Day.

In accordance with the Retail Holidays Act, R.S.O. 1990, a public meeting will be held on March 25, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. virtually.  Municipal Council will hear representations from the public with respect to the above noted exemption request, if you wish to participate in this meeting please contact the Clerk to receive a link.  If you prefer to provide written comments on this matter, please submit your comments to Jana Nethercott, Clerk no later than 12 noon on March 22, 2021 via email at clerk@westelgin.net.
