Furnvial Road Closed to Through Traffic Starting Monday April 5

Starting on Monday, April 5th, Furnival Road will officially be closed to through traffic for the duration of Phase 2 of the County of Elgin Rodney Reconstruction, from the southerly phase limits to Moriah Street. During this time, a designated detour route with signage will direct traffic accordingly. Details of such are available on the County Website. The pre-existing sidewalks will be left in place to the extent possible so to as maintain pedestrian access to merchants until such time as the required new concrete sidewalk base preparations are needing to be completed.
