On Thursday April 3rd, the Municipal Office received a letter uttering threats towards the Mayor and Council. We recognize the passionate positions people or groups may hold regarding issues that impact the community. However, the Municipality of West Elgin does not condone any threats or acts of violence towards council members, administrative staff, or residents of our community. The Municipality treats any threat received as a serious incident and accordingly will advise the police.
