Sanitary Sewer System

Within the Municipality of West Elgin there are two (2) sanitary sewer system within the limits of the villages of Rodney and West Lorne.  Each system has its own Wastewater Treatment Plant.  The plant that services the village of Rodney is located at 22590 Pioneer Line just east of the town limits and the plant that services West Lorne is located at 25030 Thompson Line just south of the village.  Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) is contracted by the Municipality of West Elgin to operated and maintain these systems as well as perform all of the required sampling and reporting.  These plants are operated in accordance with provincial regulations and each year the Municipality must report to the Ministry of the Environment on the operation of these plants.  Below are the reports that are submitted to Council quarterly along with the annual reports.
