Town Crier Visited West Elgin on Canada Day 2020

Every year for the last 31 years Town Crier Dave Phillips has cried a greeting to the people of the County of Elgin on July 1, Canada Day. This year all Canada Day celebrations were cancelled due to the COVID19 pandemic. Some businesses have begun opening but with restrictions. David wanted to do his part to carry on his Canada Day tradition and support our communities.

West Elgin Community Pool has released the schedule for the week of July 6.

Pool Schedule July 2-5

West Elgin Community Pool Officially Opens July 2!

Schedule for July 2 to 5

Open Swim 12:30 to 2 pm

Open Swim 2:30 to 4 pm

Family Swim 5 to 6 pm

Adult Swim 7 to 8:30 pm

Pool Closed between 4 and 5 pm for extra cleaning

$2 per person or $5 per family.

Please note due to COVID-19 there is cleaning required between swim times, therefore there are extra breaks and strict rules.  Please see the pool page for more details.   A weekly schedule for the pool will be posted every friday.
