Office Closure

The Municipal Offices at 22413 Hoskins Line and Service Ontario will close to the public as of 12 noon December 24, 2020 until further notice due to the province wide shutdown. Municipal Staff will be available by telephone (519-785-0560) or email starting at 8:30 a.m. on Monday January 4, 2021. Payments can be dropped off in the drop box to the right of the front door or submitted on line.

December 24, 2020 - Offices close at 12 noon, open at 8:30 am

December 25 to January 1 - Offices Closed

January 4, 2021 - Regular Office Hours Resume

Payments put into the drop box at the right of the entrance door of the Municipal Office will be processed on January 4, 2021.

Friendly Reminder of Garbage Bag Limit

This is just a friendly reminder that a limit of three (3) garbage bags for curbside collection 
will come into effect January 1, 2021, per household in the Municipality of West Elgin.

COVID-19 update Recreation

Due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in neighbouring health units, the Municipality of West Elgin has made the decision to suspend rentals, and/or use, of facilities by individuals from areas that have been placed in a high risk designation.

Effective immediately, all municipal facilities including the West Elgin Community Centre and Rodney Recreation Centre will be closed for rental or use by those from designated COVID-19 restricted (red) or lockdown (grey) areas. Residents living in other...
